WITH LOVE FROM ITALY

Reporting from Italy, where I am currently experiencing every level of what (out of current vocabulary skills) I can only call paradise*. Let it be known, that as a moderately to very happy inhabitant of the digital age, that it has been a looong time, since I turned my phone off - not counting the unintentional ones where iOS forced me to restart the whole thing for a "software update" or those times the battery would simply say: "pffff..." and go to black. This time, there are no tears nor any eye twitching involved, but simply the realisation of needing to completely unplug from time to time. Am I writing this to you from a perfectly electronically lit, totally connected to the down stairs laundromat's free wi-fi laptop, whilst drop boxing above images to my phone? Maybe. But totally besides the point I'm trying to make! Either way, logging off, switching off, unplugging for even a day can make you feel like paradise.

*I googled it.. They call it: "Italy". More specifically, I'm currently spending some days in Italy, jumping between Venice, Padua, Lago di Tenno and currently in Verona. Such a blessing!
