BLANK GAPS

GAP PEPLUM TOP / GAP PANTS / HUNTER BAG / DANIEL WELLINGTON WATCH / PRADA SUNGLASSES

It's a poorly kept secret, that I jump into my yoga-pants at any possible occasion. I could try and think up many reasons as to why, but it all comes down to the fact, that they're ridiculously comfortable. Although I don't possess the ability to put my legs behind my head, the intention is there. So whilst I desperately try to reach my toes, the perks of the infinite stretch are beneficial even to a couch potato like me.

This is my second look out of three in collaboration with GAP's global influencer platform Styld.by (see the first here), and I loved how my beloved yoga-pants became a legitimate out-of-class outfit with this super cool peplum t-shirt. Namaste? Namaste!

HAPPY FRIDAY!

CLOCKING IN, SUNSHINE

VINTAGE SHIRT / PEPE JEANS JEANS / ZARA MULES / EVERLANE TOTE / CELINE SUNGLASSES / MONICA VINADER BRACELET / WEAREARROW RING

Recent improvement in the London weather forecast has lead to a fair bit of squinting that has lead to an urgent need for a pair of fully functioning sunglasses. And now, when it comes to the classic black shades, who does it better than Céline? Paired with an outfit almost completely sourced by eager thrift shop hunting, the total sum of this outfit only comes to the price of the shades.

London being such a vibrant city, it's impossible not to fall in love with the continuous stream of red buses (mind you, I don't feel much love for them when I'm riding behind them.. just.. can't.. breathe..) and somehow it's a colour that seems to repeat itself throughout the city. Clerkenwell at least! Oh, and Old Street of course, not to mention creative hotspot Shoreditch. Come to London, and if you're a chameleon, don't bother packing other colours in your suitcase than red. You'll blend in just fine.

HAVE A LOVELY DAY

SERENDIPITOUS BACKWAYS

GAP TRENCH COAT / SAMSØE SAMSØE SKIRT / MAXMARA TOTE / R.M. WILLIAMS BOOTS

If there's one thing I love about living in London, it's the fact that by the time you think you've seen everything, you blink, and everything has changed. And then again, the characteristic yellow and red bricks remain, but the ivy might have come a bit further down or a beautiful vintage car in mint condition has parked on a spot that you otherwise found dodgy (pun intended). Now, you know I'd be the first one to jump at a vintage vehicle if they came as electrical cars and with the steering on the left side, but until then, my wheels will be the ones on my bike.

Either way, a girl can dream, and my dreaming led me to jump into this short trench coat. A trench coat is unarguably a classic, yet I've never jumped into one with this length, and now it simply won't come off! A versatile fella it is.. Next up, culottes and stilettos, you're on in 5, cause it's FRIDAY!

HAVE A WONDERFUL START TO YOUR WEEKEND

WEEKEND ADDICTIONS

VINTAGE BLAZER / WALLIS TOP / WALLIS JEANS / VINTAGE SHOES / CARAVELLE WATCH / HUNTER BAG / VINTAGE SCARF

Spring is an addiction. Having been bordering autumn in Australia for the past few months, Spring has definitely been missed, although I can't say that there's much difference in temperatures. Either way, it's perfect weather for wearing a slip top and flares, paired with newly acquired freckles that appeared on my face after these photos. How I love sitting by the canal, with raspberry meringue, cake and an iced coffee, and that hint of the 70's on my jeans is perhaps as addictive as Spring-time, and there's no doubt, that these will come out to many sunny market days this summer.

HOPE YOU'VE HAD A LOVELY WEEKEND

MY GUIDE TO: SEVEN DIALS

WAREHOUSE JACKET / KANGOL HAT / TONI BIANCO SHOES / EVERLANE BAG

If two of my favourite European cities, Paris and London, had a lovechild, it would without a single doubt in my mind be Seven Dials in Covent Garden. A London evergreen with that French charm, that makes you order lemon pie for dessert before you can even think of any earthly reason not to. It is a well-known fact that English spoken with a French accent is just right out wonderful. This area belongs to one of my favorite parts of London, and as I promised to reveal yesterday, one of my favourite coffee shops in London. Should I perhaps also mention, that this mini guide arrives just in time before their 20% off shopping event with Esquire and ELLE this Saturday, 9th of May? I have already signed up for the discount here and thought I'd lay down my favourite spots for you.

Now, my favourite coffee shop - even after I spilt matcha all over my laptop that then had to resign from duty, or the time where I ran late for a meeting downstairs and decided instead of walking, tumbling all the way down into a full room seemed more my style - is no less than Timberyard Café. There are a lot of great drinks for the perfect afternoon coffee, together with a selection of salads and cakes (gluten free options too!).
TIMBERYARD, 7 UPPER ST MARTINS LANE

Not to miss is hot shot Monmouth Coffee, and their single origin coffee beans are no less than superb. Definitely take two coffee breaks when you come to this area.
MONMOUTH COFFEE COMPANY, 27 MONMOUTH ST

Pierre Hermé, or "the Picasso of Pastry", has it's home on 38 Monmouth Street, where I have spent ages just window-shopping. I highly suggest you take it one step further. So good.
PIERRE HERME, 38 MONMOUTH ST

If you're in the need of fresh air, and outside is no good due to an often seen Londoner, Monsieur Rain, take a step into LOFT design by. This purist French brand have made their way into my heart with their fabulous design and innovative knits not to mention that the interiors will have you snapping for your Pinterest board.
LOFT DESIGN BY, 57-59 MONMOUTH ST

If you're after one of a kind accessories, Les Néréides Market is the place to go. Taking its inspiration from modern art and music, you'll find unique pieces that make for perfect gifts, not to mention their picturesque fragrance range.
LES NEREIDES MARKET, 73 MONMOUTH ST

One for all the gentlemen out there, this is not one to miss! Murdock London holds grooming specialists and luxury barbers that will do anything from a haircut to a shave whilst stocking on lots of great products and stuff you'll only ever need if you have a beard - great for gifts!
BURDOCK LONDON, 18 MONMOUTH ST

Now, having been born in Denmark, I practically knew how to bike before I could walk (am I right, Danes?!). Therefor, B1866 on Earlharm Street can get my heart beating really fast.
B1866, 36 EARLHARM ST

Now. I won't have any reader of mine starving, so lunch will be served! Mon Plaisir feels like you've somehow teleported yourself to Le Marais in Paris. It's terribly charming, and food is wonderful. However, slightly difficult if you're a veggie, but staff is very accommodating to those minor alterations.
MON PLAISIR, 21 MONMOUTH ST

I HOPE YOU ENJOYED THE GUIDE, AND IF YOU DECIDE TO HEAD TO SEVEN DIALS THIS SATURDAY, MAKE SURE YOU SIGN UP TO GET THE 20% HERE!
